How to Install 1156 LED Bulbs?

Installing 1156 LED bulbs is a simple process that only takes a few minutes. The first step is to remove the old bulbs. 1156 LED bulbs are larger than traditional 1156 bulbs, so you will need to use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the cover.

Be careful when prying open the cover because the pin inside the bulb can break. Once the cover is off, be sure to turn off the headlights.

The next step is to remove the pin. The pin is held in place by a small lever. Pull the lever up to remove the pin.

After removing the pin, remove the bulb. Next, twist the new 1156 LED bulb into place. The last step is to put the cover and pin back into place.

Turn on the headlights to check if you have installed the LED bulb correctly. If the LED bulb does not turn on, try to twist the bulb slightly. If the LED bulb still does not turn on, try a different bulb.
